Fresh Okra being grown on a local urban farm
Fresh Okra being grown on a local urban farm

Rooted in a rich Puerto Rican agricultural heritage, my passion for food was sparked early in life, shaped by limited access to fresh ingredients and a deep desire to provide clean, wholesome meals for my family. This personal mission led me to dive into urban gardening, where I’ve spent the last seven years cultivating fresh produce and crafting nourishing recipes.

As a mother of six—soon to be seven—and someone who rose from a challenging background, I founded a nonprofit dedicated to food security, access, and seasonal eating. In 2025, I’m thrilled to introduce our Farm Café, a space that celebrates these values while fostering community connection. Through urban gardening, catering local events, and serving on the urban agriculture committee, I’ve built bridges within our community, emphasizing the importance of healthy, accessible food.

Our mission is to inspire women and families, showing that passion can grow into success, no matter where you start. At the Wild Bloom Garden Company and Farm Café, we’re committed to sharing knowledge, creating access to fresh food, hosting vibrant community events, and building a strong cultural foundation centered on health and sustainability. Join us as we grow together, from our roots to a healthier future.
